We’re excited to announce that New Each Morning is part of the 2024 Central Oregon Gives Campaign! This initiative is a timely and critical opportunity to raise funds supporting our Fundamentals of Peer Support Training Program, which reaches throughout the Central Oregon region to offer an in-person, Peer Support Specialist (PSS) & Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) training for Adult Addiction, qualifying attendees to apply for certification with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and with the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO).
These trainings are an essential part in the solution for meeting the rapidly growing demand for certified peer supporters, bridging the gap between treatment and long-term recovery, and qualifying those with lived-experience to make a lasting impact in our community and the Central Oregon region.
In October 2024, New Each Morning successfully held its first Fundamentals of Peer Support Training, serving attendees from Warm Springs, Madras, Sisters, Redmond and Bend. With requests already coming in for more trainings, our goal is to hold 4 more trainings in 2025 and we need your financial help to do this.
New Each Morning launched in January of 2020 serving women graduates of alcohol and drug treatment programs by providing post-recovery support through our Connection Advocates and community collaboration.
Peer support is key to the success of our clients and our program and now we are ready to train others to have an even greater impact in the lives of those working so hard to re-write their stories in the Central Oregon recovery community. With addiction impacting nearly every family in one way or another, New Each Morning continues its commitment to walk alongside women graduates from recovery programs providing weekly support, resources, hope, accountability, and opportunities to rebuild their lives, often reunite with their children and families, and become gainfully employed in our Central Oregon communities. Please visit our website for more information.
We invite you to partner with us financially as we work to be part of the solution to this addiction crisis we are all living in. Donations through this year’s Central Oregon Gives Campaign will help fund our goal to offer 4 Fundamentals of Peer Support trainings in 2025.
Starting today, participating in Central Oregon Gives means your contribution not only goes directly to New Each Morning but also enters you for prizes and perks that change weekly.
Donate now through December 31st to help us fund the Fundamentals of Peer Support trainings for 2025!
