Welcome to The Juniper House
Transitional Sober-living Home Rooted in Community, Identity, Establishing a Firm Foundation to Thrive
Across many cultures, juniper has been associated with purification, protection, resilience, and restoration.
At New Each Morning, we believe in the resilience of the juniper - thriving in difficult places, offering shade to the exhausted, and standing strong against the storm. The Juniper House embodies this same heart: stability, safety, and space for women to establish the foundation for a new future.
The Foundation
New Each Morning is a local 501c3 nonprofit equipping women graduates of recovery programs with certified Peer Support, job preparation, transportation, housing assistance, and life skills. Since 2020, our vision has been to provide safe, stable, sober living housing for heroic women rebuilding their lives.
The vision Has come to fruition
New Each Morning has purchased a 2.3 acre property with a 3,364 square foot home that can house multiple women, including an on-site house manager.
There is also space to raise garden produce, chickens and livestock. This property is exactly what we need to meet the critical need of housing for women after graduating from a treatment program. It is safe and supported housing to help women rekindle hope, dream again and establish a foundation to restart life!
Here is the hard reality: many women exit treatment programs with no safe housing options. They face isolation, limited life skills, and barriers to employment—factors that significantly increase the risk of relapse and contribute to Oregon’s persistently high recidivism rates.
The Juniper House and New Each Morning respond by providing safe, alcohol and drug-free housing combined with certified peer support, community connection, life-skills development, and employment readiness.

From vision to Foundation
We would love to invite you into a meaningful partnership around The Juniper House.
Our vision is not just to open a home, but to secure it for the long term. By making The Juniper House mortgage-free and self-sustaining, we ensure it remains a stable, debt-free place of healing for women exiting treatment—regardless of future economic shifts.
A mortgage-free home allows every future dollar raised to go directly toward what changes lives: safe housing, peer support, life skills, and pathways to independence. It also establishes the Juniper House as a permanent community asset, serving women for decades to come.
We are inviting a small group of visionary partners to help complete this final step and create lasting impact, security, and hope. We would be honored to explore what partnership could look like with you.
We invite you to Partner with the vision that is now a reality as we work to raise $1,200,000.
